Autumn Along Rosemont
Another reason to love Kodak Ektar 100. Smooth tones and crisp highlights. Took this moments before the Cadillac shot. The Nikon FM2n make a great walk around camera because it's so light, yet has every pro feature you need.
Cadillac Unwrapped
This was along a routine dog walk route. I hope this old gal gets fixed up. I shot it in color, and was torn between it and B&W. B&W won because the color version didn't add anything. besides, I remember thinking in B&W when I took it, even though I knew I had color in the camera. Nothing wrong with altering the palette to realize your vision.
Electric Hotels and Banks
I really like the way this turned out. It was just fine as a regular dusk shot. But it lacked pizazz. Played around in Photoshop and came up with this "electric" interpretation.
Impala
Our family had one of these in the 1960's. I think ours looked about the same when Dad sold it.
A drive in the country
In Jessamine County, Kentucky.
Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign...
Blocking out the scenery, breaking my mind. From near the train overpass looking toward downtown Lexington, Kentucky. My Nikon 75-300 was nearly all the way out. Not bad for hand-held.
Berea Forest Set #1Deck
On Mom's deck. Trying out Kodak Portra 400. Supposed to be the world's finest grain 400 color film. Well, maybe it's my scanner...
