GAS Proof
These are all close-ups using a Nikon auto bellows with a 105MM/f2.8 Micro-Kikkor lens mounted on a Nikon F3HP, shot on Kodak Ektar 100. I used a shoe-mounted SB-16 flash with a Lumiquest diffuser. Results were mixed, but using the TTL mode helped to control blowout. Next time I'll shoot with two remote flashes using a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio, both diffused of course. I just wanted to try my newly-purchased camera/lens/bellows/flash combo in standard mode to see what kind of adjustments I need to make. I especially like the bokeh on the 105mm lens. I was able to control depth-of-field fairly precisely, even for some of the 1:1 up to 1:3 macro shots. And the Nikon bellows is by far the best I've used so far. Very solid and easy to make adjustments. After learning where the controls were, I found myself grabbing the focus rail and aperture stop-down controls without even looking. Yes I have G.A.S., as this is proof.
